Reading the numbers
Paid = money paid toward expenses.
For self = your share of expenses you paid.
For others = the rest of what you paid.
Others covered = your share paid by other people.
Month end balance = opening balance + paid − your share + payments sent − payments received.
A positive balance means you should receive money. A negative balance means you owe money. Repayments are kept separate from spending.
